Our prayer for you

We pray that you may be aware of, and stand firm against, the forces waging war against you!

Know your battle!

Three forces wage war against the believer:

Farm workers at Protea Farm, Grabouw, agreed:

Grace is like giving someone a second chance!

52-Hertz, The Loneliest Whale In The World

The loneliest whale in the world, the 52-Hertz whale, sings a song no other whale will answer and travels the oceans alone.
Heard for the first time in 1989, and monitored since 1992, this lone whale has gripped people’s attention and imagination.  What’s so unique about this whale?

Forgiveness After Many Years

What does it take to understand forgiveness, and to be able to forgive somebody?

"Wellness Work" on a big apple farm in the Elgin Valley near Grabouw:  Pieter has only done 2 sessions (4 hours) on the misuse of alcohol, with the accompanied DVD “Wanneer die Dop Skop”, when this one young farm worker became very upset:

Dance To The Rhythm

I am not a good dancer, always stepping on Magdaleen’s toes.

The Bible says we must walk in the Lord Jesus Christ.
This actually means you and I must dance to the rhythm of the music of the Holy Spirit:

Touched Lives

Glenbrae Farm:

Johanna & Pienaar, two elderly ladies, testified how their lives were touched after the session on forgiveness.  They learned how to forgive each other.

Ministry Activities

As SA e-mentor Community Leader, Magdaleen completed a very practical & interesting 6-week training course of Power-to-Change. This online course focuses on using your own personal story in sharing the Good News of Jesus with others. There were also 4 group discussions via Skype, as most of the other “trainees” were e-mentor Community Leaders in Canada.

A Floribundant Journey

In February 2012 we attended the solo exhibition of Botanical Fine Art by Daleen Roodt, our daughter, at the Orient Boutique Hotel, Pretoria.

This exhibition was the end result of a two-year commission where Daleen painted over 50 paintings in water colour and oil of the indigenous flowers of the Francolin Conservancy.

Farm Worker’s Regret

During our final Wellness session on the topic of GRACE at a farm in the Elgin Valley, Western Cape, the discussion was about “Wrong Things I Did In The Past”.

A very agitated young farm worker shared in his small-group about something he would have liked to reverse, if possible:

Sandwich for the road & our prayer for you

Spiritual Blessings

(Ephesians 1:3-7)

All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.
