Our prayer for you

Take God on His Word

For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.

Our Prayer for you:

Jannie Marais

Who would have thought our paths will cross after 10 years!

Jesus Film course

Jannie has been a partner with Campus Crusade for Christ for longer than ten years. During 1990 he attended a Jesus Film Course in Stellenbosch (presented by Pieter!) where he has been equipped to minister full time with the film JESUS.

Noel Livesey

Ever since Noel met Pieter Brits, his contact with farm workers has increased greatly...

New opportunities

Before meeting Pieter, he could only meet with people during lunch times, week nights after work hours and on weekends. Now he also sees people during Pieter's presentation.

Wellness on the farms (update)

You are someone special

After one year’s wellness sessions on Protea apple & prune farm, we recap and did some reinforcement. I emphasized the fact that “You are someone Special

This is why we never give up…

Pressed on every side, but not crushed.
Perplexed, but not driven to despair.

Peet

Peet lives in Pretoria and is a computer programmer.  In 2009 he did part-time studies doing a masters degree in Organizational Leadership.  It took a lot of hard work, commitment and perseverance and we are proud of Peet’s dedication.

It is worth reading his interesting articles on his blog:  peetbrits.wordpress.com

Pieter's Father Died

We all knew he didn’t have much time left, but still, when we received the news that he just died, it still came as a shock…

As many of you already know, Pieter’s father died May 7th, 2010 at the age of 83.
Pieter said: “I always knew that the day my father dies, it will be like a library burnt down.”

Along Came Noel

As the work increases, along came Noel Livesey, sent by God.

Noel and his wife Jean returned from the Philippines in December 2006, where they ministered for 25 years as Tribal Church Planters with the Manobo people of Mindanao.  They have two sons Leon (23) and Evan (19). In October 2007 they were asked by The United Church Hermanus to conduct a Basic Needs Survey amongst the farm workers in the Hemel en Aarde Valley.
