Our Prayer For You

“Almighty Heavenly Father, through your love and mercy: I have been made alive through Jesus Christ...

You’ve raised me up & seated me with you in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus
in order to show the incomparable riches of your grace
Help me today to accept this gift of faith,
and to experience the full victory and richness of it in my inner being.
Let it show in my daily life.
Amen"

Protea Compacta

Despite the devastating fire in January that burned nearly the whole of Three Sisters in the Kogelberg mountain, there are still some Bot River Proteas (Protea compacta), unscathed and flowering.

In conservation status, Protea compacta is classified as NEAR THREATENED.

This beautiful protea grows only in the coastal slopes and flats (between sea level and 100m) in the extreme South Western Cape.
